The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) is very pleased to announce the appointment of a NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS for the period 2018 – 2020.
The Board comprises:

- Mr. John St. Louis
- Mrs. Margaret Frame
- Mr. Michael Mason
- Ms. Carvel Frederick
- Mr. Joshua St. Bernard
Under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Anthony Mac Leish, Board Directors will determine policies to be followed in conduct of the affairs of NAWASA.
The new Board is established under and governed by the provisions of the National Water and Sewerage Authority’s Act, 1990. The main function of the board lies in the administration of the affairs of the Authority, and Directors are dedicated to ensuring the long-term success of NAWASA. They will be mandated to carry out responsibilities in the areas of Corporate Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management, Financial Management and Reporting, Corporate Governance & Business Operations.
Directors have expressed their commitment to performing their functions with transparency, independence, accountability, responsibility and focus. Public Utilities Minister Hon. Gregory Bowen engaged Directors and General Manager Mr. Christopher Husbands at a meeting in the Authority’s Boardroom on Wednesday July 11th, 2018.
The Management Team of NAWASA is very excited to be working closely with the new directors as we chart the way forward for the development of the island’s water and wastewater sector.
